The mission of The Buffalo News is to provide news and information to the community they serve, and to report it honestly, accurately and fairly. But their service to the community doesn’t end there. They believe that being a good newspaper also requires being a good citizen.
For that reason, they either initiate or are asked to help support many causes throughout Western New York each year. They respond with cash contributions, promotional support, printed materials, equipment and volunteers using their resources to make Western New York an even better place to live. The Buffalo News newsroom is the hub of writing, photographing and designing for each days paper.
